If you want a genuine south Tuscan family trattoria this is it. Totally genuine. Very special people. Authentic local food and wine. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy local cooking with a very special Buonconvento family. They can do simple or, with warning, can...More
This was our favorite place in all of Italy on our 2 week trip.....Why? Because here you can take in the charm of a local neighborhood and embrace the charm and romance of the beautiful people of Buonconvento! We received the best of service and...More
Nicest fresh pasta, vegetables and meat. Trying the Tomahawk was best ever! Don't order too many side dishes because you will have to finish the meat.
We ate there 5 times in 3 weeks. The Fiorentino steak was to die for, also home made pasta, tripe, liver & all those lovely meals you look forward to in Italy. It is truely family run with Nonna who is 101years brought down from...More

The restaurant serves good simple food in a relaxed environment. I can highly recommend the homemade pici, steaks from grill and the pannacotta. The house's simple wine goes perfectly together with everything on the menu.
Loved the homemade pasta - yum. The beefsteak and veal were fantastic and the ambience of the restaurant, especially with blues music playing was unforgettable. Side dishes of vegetables were excellent. The house vino was also good. Great place in an unexpected location.
