I had my surprise baby shower here and I couldn't have asked for a better place to host such an occasion. The food was beautiful, Nick the owner is such a wonderful host and him and his staff really went all out to make sure...More

This was a disappointing first visit to this restaurant. The menu is trying to be ecerything, but not delivering quality on anything. Lots of makeshift Med dishes, none authentic, but still with a hefty price tag. The owner has never been to Greece and couldn't...More

A very disappointing meal. The 'interesting' menu is a hash of all kinds of pseudo-Med dishes. The portions are huge though so expect that will be popular with visitors and locals alike. The whitebait was over cooked and the beef stroganoff was a real let...More

This place doesn't look like much from the outside but do not let this out you off. The food is amazing! We stupidly went for starters and mains and you do not need both! All our food was impeccably cooked and there was so much...More

We booked following recommendation and looking at reviews on Tripadvisor. The evening was a disappointment, to be honest, this is the first negative review that I have posted. We were left waiting for 30 minutes for our table to come available, a bad start. The...More

We have been going to this restaurant for 30 years, since the first time we went to South Devon on holiday and when it was run by the Present owners' parents. The food was excellent then and is the same now that Nick is running...More

The communal feel of the experience is not for everyone but the host is larger than life and the meals are even bigger. It was packed which is always a great sign and but the host was still able to squeeze us in for a...More

Welcomed at door but the friendly owner, who stopped to chat about Cyprus. Food superb, we had the Greek platter which is supposed to serve 2, easily covered 3 and may well feed 4. Restaurant was busy and seemed to have quite a few regulars...More

We eat here about once a month, and have never been disappointed. Very good portions, sometimes a little too much, but the food is excellent, always piping hot, and very good value, with excellent service. The steak and kidney pie, the baked lasagne and the...More

I defy anyone to be disappointed by the standard of the cooking and, especially, the size of the servings. Make sure you are hungry when you arrive - you won't be when you leave. Great atmosphere, attentive staff and most welcoming host. Great sense of...More

Hi, My wife and I wish to come on a Friday with our Grandkids 11 and 7. We love Greek food but our main reason is to experience some Greek dancing as the kids have been doing some Greek dancing at school. will it be possible for them to join in a Greek dance or two? I know they would love that, if so what would be the best time to book a table? as don't wont to be too late out with them. Many thanks Stuart.

I can only agree with what everybody else says. The food is incredible but no dancing when we were there. Suggest you contact Nick.
Plan on coming for my birthday but would have a few children with us. Is it overly expensive for menu as some of the people have more than 1 child each?

No it is a very competitively priced menu, with lots and lots of choices. The portions are very generous, so remember for those with small appetites one can ask for a small portion.
Did I see somewhere that The Trade Winds has opened a take away service?
