This is a nice looking place, a lovely nautical theme and some effort has gone in to making it look nice. Some thought has gone into tables and seating as well, the restaurant is split into two wings and there is space between tables so...More

We have eaten here a few times and it is always nice, they have a takeaway which is ideal for parking and the portions just as good.

Obviously had a refurb since we last visited. Food was good, with generous portion sizes. Downside was the fact that our waitress got several elements of our order wrong and was totally unfamiliar with the menu- my son asked for details of the "special" which...More

Visited banny's on four occasions whilst shopping at boundary mill, always found the fish and chips very nice, visited once with my elderly father and mother (both in wheelchairs) and the staff were very helpful in accommodating us.

Had a fab meal here, after we came for a spontaneous tea. Neither of us fancied fish and chips but were impressed by the range of different options, all tasty and fresh giving Banny's a modern vibe. I had the special chicken wrap which was...More

Truly awful. They must have a new chef or chefs. It was very good last year. I cannot recommend eating here at all

Visited around 7.30pm on a Saturday evening. Had to wait to be shown to a table even though the place was only half full. Placed our orders and then realised that the adjacent table were complaining that their order was not correct! Sadly neither was...More

WOW. We love the new decoration for Banny's restaurant. Amazing beach and seaside theme and love the menu too. Great portions, although the 'small' fish and chips is just right. It shouldn't be called small, because it isn't. Even the kids portions are excellent and...More

I'm afraid that when I saw the cheese and onion pie on someone else's plate it did not appeal to me, as it too reminded me of my tasteless school dinners. Perhaps a flakey pasty would be viable option.
