Absolutely love this place amazing to go with your friends. Just had a lovely lunch outside with a gorgeous view. Both staff and food were amazing! As Joe Lacey really looked after us and made us feel right at home. Will be back again.

The food was excellent, as were the staff, but unfortunately the service was somewhat slow, when two mains had been served, after five minutes we had to ask for the third, same happened with desserts. Would not have minded, but the restaurant was very quiet.

First time my husband and I visited, will definitely be going back! The food was super tasty, so much so we had all three courses! All the staff were lovely & polite, but our waiter, Joe, was very attentive & nothing was too much trouble, he made our visit extra special! Food waiting time was really quick, even though the... Visited recently on Mother's Day. The menu is extensive and creative but with a strong influence on fish. The decor in the conservatory is light, bright and elegant creating a special environment. The food was lovely but the seafood paella portion was small. The rice was a lacking flavour but the seafood was cooked to perfection. The other dishes, including... More

My main course was wild mushroom ravioli and my husband's was fish pie, both well cooked and tasty. Service excellent and the place was full which... More

Stopped for lunch at The Alma and as usual it was just lovely. Good wine, fabulous food and great service. Joe made us feel very welcome and was attentive without being intrusive and Olivia our waitress was friendly and efficient. Thanks both for your great service you are a real asset to the company! We will definitely be back.

Service which sometimes lacks speed and good food spoiled only by the lack of low carb foods on menu, although they will change the chips for a good salad! As part of a chain it now has a standard menu available at most "Seafood Pub" pubs. Just a little bit on the expensive side!
