Lovely local inn with a great beer garden. Good selection of ales etc. Chose to stay for dinner and the landlord was great and fitted us in to this busy service. There was a little wait on the service/food but the food was absolutely gorgeous and well worth the little extra in cost.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, lovely beer garden and fantastic food. Local cider and beer. The best thing in Wookey Hole.

A very disappointing meal with cold vegetables, tough and tasteless lamb and pork with no crackling, cold and very fatty. The deserts nearly saved the meal but the rhubarb trifle was rhubarb and custard with cream on top! Perhaps forget the gimmicks of crayons and concerntrate on the food.....

We arrived without booking on bank holiday Sunday and felt the reception was slightly frosty there were 6 adults and 3 children and we were greeted with we are only offering Sunday lunch not sandwiches or snacks. We were visiting the caves for the day so were rather dressed down. Once we assured the lady a proper lunch was what... More

Went & ate here on a Friday night with my partner. Had a drink & decided we were hungry so both ordered the Wook Burgers....Oh my God... By far the best burger I have ever eaten out anywhere. The homemade mayonnaise was delicious too....would have this meal over & over again! Can't recommend enough.

We ate at this restaurant for 2 nights running and thoroughly enjoyed the food, there was a good choice and they even cooked some things for us that differed from their menu. The staff were really friendly which made our time there even better.

We invaded this pub on a Sunday lunchtime. Wookey Hole can be quite busy, but this pub has its own free carpark just over the road; great access to two of the best views in the South West - Ebbor Borge and Deer Leap. Be careful when you cross the road. Th restaurant is bright, clean, spacious and modern -... More
