We stopped by here for an early mid-week dinner and it was lovely. The waitress was really welcoming and nicely attentive. She helped with options for dairy allergy etc. The food was great, lovely fresh scallops and black pudding, a great steak and fresh langustines. Also a lovely spag-bol for my 6 yr old!

What a great restaurant !We enjoyed a delicious meal here while on a day visit to Mallaig. The Cullen Skink for starters was superb, followed by the finest fish and chips which our son relished. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the spaghetti with salmon and scallops and I had smoked haddock lasagne which was delicious .Linda who served us was a... More

We had fish and chips here and they were very very nice. There is a sign outside which says they also do take-aways. I almost chose a daily offer which was seafood pasta that day, but I couldn't resist fish and chips. The only downside they are not open every day and we were not able to be orientated about... We had eaten at the Cabin some years ago when run by a guy called Scott. This was our first visit in a number of years as we were staying in Mallaig. We decided to have a meal at The Cabin on our last night, but were disappointed to find the main restaurant closed despite it still being early so... More

Today we did the rail journey from Fort William to Mallaig and happened upon the The Cabin for lunch. Wow, the fish and chips were fantastic, the best I have ever had. The place soon filled with customers which was not surprising. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I opted for the carry out version as I was waiting to catch a Cal Mac ferry. It was fresh and very hot. The fish was lovely , it was so nice to get fresh fish made to order. Reasonably priced and really enjoyed. Would recommend.

My husband had a spicy pasta dish which was tasty. It was a smaller portion than we are used to from our local Italians in Cullercoats. I had fish and chips and mushy peas which again was just ok. Very friendly staff and efficient service
