It appears the best and actually only Steakhouse on the South Coast with the exception of Sandals in White house, is gone for good. It was 5 stars when it was open. .

Treasure Beach offers many different places to eat, but with few exceptions they all serve very similar fare. MarBlu is an exception. My wife and I had a shrimp dish and steak respectively, and both were excellent. According to Axel (owner/chef), there are limited good choices for steak in Jamaica, so he imports his steak. I have eaten steak in... More

The chef is excellent, very creative and intuitive. You must try this restaurant if you are in the area.

The term "steakhouse" is misleading, but Andrea and Axel's restaurant is as close to fine dining as it comes in Treasure Beach. The food is high quality, albeit without a steak on the menu every night, with Axel taking a lot of pride in every item. The atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful/ romantic, with capacity being about fifteen people,... More

We went to Marblu (Andreas Steakhouse) for what we hoped was a gourmet steak meal having read some 'rave' reviews. When we booked we were told there were no steaks so we decided on a lobster dish. When we arrived we were the only people eating, which felt a bit odd, and we were not presented with a menu to... More

We are foodies and look for the best meals possible. MarBlue provides superb fine dining experiences, and we make it a point to have at least one meal there every time we visit Treasure Beach. This time we ate there twice, and we were in heaven both times. The setting for the restaurant itself is exquisite. Andrea is the hostess,... More

There is absolutely no finer dining in Treasure Beach, much less then entire South Coast of Jamaica. Axel is a master chef, having beat out top chefs in cooking competitions throughout Jamaica. He and his lovely wife, Andrea, operate the restaurant--which is an absolute joy. We had passion fruit martinis, two types of pea soup, shrimp a la plancha, scallops... More

I have eaten some of the best meals ever at Andreas. The open air restaurant is very charming. Andrea and her husband Axel who is the chef are supurb hosts and the meals... More

Recommended by a local, we made our way into MarBlue / Andreas Steakhouse for breakfast on our 1st day at Treasure Beach. Fresh ingredients cooked as you like and with service that was excellent. Seated at a table overlooking the beach with palm trees and a papaya tree right in front of you, it was an unrivalled setting! You will... More

Just returned from Treasure Beach and it was great. Had an incredible dinner with Andrea and Axel as our gracious hosts and it was top notch. The food, service and the location was absolutly amazing and I would highly recommend it. Most of our meals were very casual while staying in TB but that night was a fantastic upscale experience...
