We had a really nice breakfast in this lovely cafe in a historic building. The chai was nice too. Only suggestion would be they need to cover up the back of the kitchen fridges as you can see in this pic.

Great little cafe with plenty of mains, coffees, and sweets. The best part is that, for those of us with dietary restrictions, they have a separate vegan brunch menu. The vegan Huevos Rancheros is fantastic. It's a towering stack of beans, roasted veggies, and tofu, with a delicious drizzle of both hot and pesto sauce. It was so good that... More

We visited Powerhouse Cafe for brunch and were both extremely impressed with our meals. I had the Florentine potato cake (poached eggs on super-tasty potato cake- great variation on your normal eggs benny - came with beetroot relish and few other sauces drizzled around the plate. Divine!!). Hubby opted for the hefty cooked breakfast, also with potato cake. I've never... More

I read that this was the place to have coffee in Hamner Springs and I agree. Good coffees, nice place, friendly staff, good choice of food. My husband had the carrot cake muffin and this was good and only 4.50 which is compared to a lot of other places, cheap. I had the granola bar. This was huge and yummie.... More

Came for breakfast - good food, good value, crap coffee Overall average breakfast experience - not amazing, not bad, nothing made this place stand out for me. Definitely wouldn't come back for coffee and it is a good idea to let the customers know of the juices are fresh or not.
