$73 USD lunch. Caprese panini, grilled creole fish skewers w/rice, bread to start, and 3 drinks. Hidden gem on the island. Great views, relaxed atmosphere, attentive service, and good tasting food for the price. Up there with the other high end restaurants on the island...for less cost.More

We were sailing around the Seychelles and moored offshore ( one of the loveliest locations in the islands) and we lucked out when we found this lovely, romantic restaurant for dinner. The staff are gentle kind and knowledgeable and can not do enough for you....I am gluten free and vegetarian and I had options ( which is rare) and the food was absolutely delicious. My husband loved his meal too and the deserts were amongst the best we have ever had! The staff made us feel so welcome and I didn’t want to leave. I can not compliment everyone involved enough. A truly memorable experience.More

We stayed at L’Archipel for almost a week. We didn’t opt for the half board as we wanted to explore the a la carte. Absolutely excellent dinner options. We had delicious food of Michelin star standard - presentation, quality and OUTSTANDING service from the waiters....Truly the highest standard of service in our 3 weeks of honeymoon in Seychelles and we have stayed in a few 5* resorts during our stay here. Highly recommend the catch of the day, local creole curries and steak! Truly a wonderful gastronomic experience, thank you!More

We stayed at l’archipel hotel and ate at their restaurant la gigolette on 3 evenings and 6 lunches. We loved it and the service was excellent. We always had the a la carte menu which had a good variety of local dishes, including vegetarian and...some great fish options. Can recommend it and we thought it was good value compared to some other places for the quality of the food. Great for lunch and dinner.More

We ate here most nights on our stay. The food is delicious with a great selection of seafood as well as classic European food. There are also lovely light salads. I really recommend the palm heart salad. One a week is “Creole Night” with great...buffet and cooking demonstrations along with dancing and food.More

Service at the restaurant is excellent. Had our dinner and breakfast here during our stay in Hotel L'Archipel. It is a beachfront restaurant and has wonderful views with an option to dine on the beach.

Five of us had dinner at the restaurant on our first evening on Seychelles. After long trip we were very tired, in addition our luggage got stuck on Mahe, we didn’t have anything except cloth that we traveled in. We called the restaurant and they...were very accommodating. They gave us table on the first floor. We actually got our luggage in the last minutes and had our dinner clothes. For dinner second floor looked more inviting, because in darkness we could not see beautiful sea view. We ordered a la carte. It was our first meal on Seychelles, we didn’t know what to expect, like size of portions, how many courses to order. The appetizers were good (tuna and octopus). For Main course most of our group ordered fish Creole Style and I had duck. Unfortunately neither fish nor duck were cooked to our liking, both were extremely over cooked. Also we wanted to have crispy skin on our fish and asked to put Creole sauce on the side and not on the fish directly, still got it on the fish. The size of portions were pretty big. We didn’t try their desserts, had no room left. The service were good. Prices were pretty expensive for the quality of food that we got.More

After numerous buffets, my husband and I wanted our last dinner on Praslin to be a special occasion. Staying at La Reserve but having a car for the day we decided that the proximity of L’Archipel would be perfect. Checking out the restaurant during the...day, we also found the setting to be beautiful and the a la carte menu mouth-watering (if pricy)…! I had emailed the FB manager, Pierre Lamy, and he could not have been more accommodating, even offering to set up a special table for us right on the beach. In the event, there were some heavy downpours in the afternoon and Pierre promptly emailed to inform us that the beach restaurant would be closed that night, but that he would be happy to arrange a lovely table for us by the pool or on the veranda of the upstairs restaurant. We opted for the upstairs restaurant where a beautifully decorated table awaited us on our arrival. Our meal was lovely – chicken parmesan as an amuse-bouche, filled breads, warm seafood cocktail for starters (absolutely delicious) followed by red snapper with a mustard crust and medium-rare beef fillet in a mustard gravy. For dessert, we shared a hot chocolate soufflé with vanilla ice-cream. All of the dishes came in big portions and were excellent. Staff were all absolutely lovely. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble and they went out of their way to allow us to pay our bill in both Euro and rupees. Pierre himself came over at the end of the night to make sure we had enjoyed our evening and wish us good night. We were really impressed with the quality of the food and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff and would gladly have a meal at la Gigolette again! On an aside, we really liked the look of L’Archipel. While we were very happy at La Reserve, the property looked lovely, peaceful and well-kept. All the chalets appeared to have lovely views and the hotel’s beach was beautiful. Definitely worth considering for a stay.More

Possibly the best meals I had in the Seychelles outside of the meals at the Constance Ephelia. The pizza here is amazing, and the other food (pasta, spring rolls) were pretty good as well. The service was quick and courteous. Lovely experience overall.
