Tiny restaurant on a side street in this small village, but perfectly located close to where I was staying, I decided to give it a chance on a whim. Great decision - owners very friendly and helpful, menu was varied and always delivered tasty, hearty meals with good portions. Atmosphere fun, laid back. Go if you can!!!

We had breakfast at the hotel, with fresh pain au chocolat, baguette, jam, and coffee. Very satisfied.

Having rejected our reservation place, we stumbled onto this place while wandering. They made a table for two for us and the service was warm and friendly. Mark the British expat who owns the place was there to help us at every turn. The food was passable. I had the paella which was cooking on the terrace. Not Valencia but... More

Led, as we often are, by other Tripadvisor reviewers, we dropped in to make a reservation a couple of days before we intended to eat. The place appeared to be empty and a notice proclaimed that, due to unforeseen circumstances, no meals would be served that day. My wife wasn't taken with the rather down at heel restaurant, but as... More

We ate here twice whilst staying in Cucuron and have to say that the place is an absolute gem. Fresh tasty good, excellent service and at a reasonable price washed down with some very decent wine, what else can you ask for. Strongly recommend a visit to this place even if it means a detour and to be fair Cucuron... More

This is what Provence is all about. Fresh food, not too fancy, the real thing. A relaxed and warm welcome from one of Cucuron's hidden gems. Local fair at very reasonable prices. The waiter was charming and welcoming to English speaking guests. We have already booked for another night.

The young team is doing pretty well. Simple food, in the good way! real products. Need more experience to do better, but they are on the right way, on preparing authentic food. Nice service, cool and friendly. Prices right.

We spent 2 weeks in Cucuron. You can't eat at Petite Maison every night (fantastique), or Restaurant du Lac (Phillipe I need the monkfish recipe), so L'Arbre de Mai became our "local". Nice people, good food, reasonably priced, and a great little outdoor dining area

Cucuron is off the main tourist map (even Rick Steve's does not mention it) but it is a pleasant little town worth at least a stop. Most visitors are drawn to L'Etang, the pond, lined with plane trees and a few cafes and restaurants. Unless you've reserved at Petite Maison, take the brief walk to L'Arbre. We had a delicious... We visited L'Arbre de Mai on a quiet evening in April, we were made to feel so very comfortable and settled in for a great evening. Simple menu, well cooked, nice food ,good quality. The wine list small but great value with nice simple local wines that we very much enjoyed. The service and indeed the host for the evening... More
