Who would of thought you would find such an amazing restaurant in such a small beach resort town. Securing a table proved a bit of a challenge - a good sign hopefully - but we were delighted to get the last table for a Friday evening. The dining area is quiet and refined, as is the service, which even from... More

We ate there on three occasions one lunch and two evening meals. The combination of flavours and textures were superb and with the stunning views across the bay it is a special place to visit. The service very professional however we did feel the the wine waiter should perhaps be sent on a course to improve his customer interface skills.... More

We had the taster menu which was superb and to a very high standard. This not a cheap meal but it is special. The staff were good but the view looking out over Le Franc as darkness fell was perfect. We enjoyed the local wines on their list.

Only eat there if it is a special occasion...great selection of food, but proportions very small, and not cheap, likewise expensive wines....staff not too friendly but service good, but however it's always very busy and popular, so need to book well in advance. Great views of the bay and resort from the outside patio.

Fantastic setting, average food, reasonable prices, terrible attitude of staff towards British guests.

Casamar has been around for years in the beatifull seaside village of Llafranc (a must-see itself). Over the years both the Hotel and the Restaurant have evolved from a seasonal B&B to one of the nicest spots in the area. A small cozy hotel and a restaurant that has gained a well deserved reputation over the last decade as a... More

We spent five nights at the Casamar, eating in the restaurant on four of them. The Accommodation was first rate, as were the breakfasts and, indeed, the set dinners we ate on two evenings. But it was the two à la carte dinners which were nothing short of superb. Its Michelin Star is entirely justified. Our bill for B &... More

A lovely restaurant located at one end of Llafranc harbour with fantastic views over the town and surrounding area. High quality service from the moment you arrive with good suggestions for menu and wine selection. The food was haute cuisine and extremely well presented and very enjoyable. The wine list was extensive, however the Sommelier was very helpful with our wine... More

We've been to the Casamar twice before and had the tasting menu both times - the food, service and location made it a really great experience so we didn't hesitate in booking a table this year and inviting two friends. But this time, whilst the tasting menu was fantastic, both the food and the experience lacked the previous impact and... More
