I always swing by the Ralia Cafe when I'm heading up from Edinburgh, Decent sandwiches, great soups, good coffee. I'd go every day just to get a smile from the beautiful bee woman if I didn't live so far away!

Only 3 sandwiches left by 2pm. All egg! Very limited selection of food in general, so all adults in our group had soup and the kids limited to biscuits. Toilets horrendous and dirty. Worse than most public toilets. Would only revisit in an emergency.

Ralia cafe provided a nice wee pit stop on our journey from Edinburgh to Dingwall. There are much needed toilets including an accessible one. The cafe is up a few steps though. Snacks and drinks are available to sit in or take away and if you prefer the outdoors there are picnic benches along the back of the car park.

I stopped here with wife and children yesterday on the way to Aviemore. Lunchtime beckoned for our girls so we pulled over here. Plentiful parking adjoining open woods. The building is a round brick ground floor housing the toilets with an immense wooden building with balcony built on top. Stairs wind up to the cafe which has seating round the... More

Good coffee and lovely location however, no changing facilities for Dad's. Was advised that I had to change my daughters nappy in the Ladies toilet. Ralia states on its website it's ambition is to 'surprise, impress and delight customers,' saying to a dad go inti the ladies toilet to change a child does none if these things.

Stopped here for lunch and the service, food and drinks are all excellent for somewhere in the middle of nowhere, so would have no problem recommending this place

I always stop here for a brief rest when travelling the A9. A good place to pick up a coffee, use the facilities, and just enjoy the outlook of the cafe which has a nice view of the hills and trees surrounding it. A bit of fresh air before carrying on a long drive. I only wish they had more... More

Alia is a great stopover halfway across the Cairngorms whilst traveling north or south. Whether one is driving or in the case of the little feathered friend flying, Ralia offers sustenance to all travellers. Personally I prefer the hot chocolate and chocolate muffins to breadcrumbs, but we all have our personal favourites.

Stopped here on the way to and from the coast, glad we did! Food was good, and the views from the windows seats were great - mountains to look at and birds feeding. (Tomato and Red Pepper soup was a favourite!)
