This place was right on the beach with seating in the shade. The service was nice but the food was just bad and slow. Their club sandwich was dry came with about 7 individual fry and it wasn't cheap. Waited 50 minute for fried chicken (we were the only ones there) and it was so dry I could barely eat... More

We had the best rice and curry here in Sri Lanka. Taste is just amazing. Staff is really friendly, nice atmosphere. It's true you need to wait quite long, but it definetely worth it. I'm sorry we discovered this place on our last day in Unawatuna, otherwise we would have come back several times.

Travelled Sri Lanka for 3 months and this place has the best curry i've had. Great location, great staff and even better food. Make sure you try the special fried rice

No, it is not the best Sri Lankan food we have ever had but the food taste quite good with large portions. It is not that expensive for its location either. Every restaurant in every waterfront in the world charges a lot more than the non-waterfront restaurants. We ordered Red Rice with a fish curry and a pumpkin (spelled Pumpking)... More

We went here to get lunch. Since it is off season we were the only guests at that moment. It's a tiny place runned by a family, and has a nice view on the ocean. The menu gives many options. We ordered a calamari and grilled chicken dish. The food was home cooked and made with fresh ingredients. The sauces... More

Delicious hot (temperature) curry with coconut sambol! Yum! Lovely owner/chef. Highly recommend. Cheap cooking lessons offered too.

Brilliant Sri Lankan curry for £4.50. Right on the beach, candle lit dinner. Cocktails good too. Only watch out is the toilet- go before you leave your hotel!

We would definitely recommend this place to eat a great curry with a view on the beach. The place looks good and the staff is kind.

Didn't meet low expectations. Ordered deboned fish - came with bones but cut up in a way that made it basically inedible. Curry was fine but bland to cater to non-spicy tourist preference. We are not Sri Lanka expecting top hygiene marks but this place scores particularly low on that front too. Music was good.
