Enjoyed some well grilled jumbo prawns served with rice and fresh salad all served on the beachfront with my ties in the sand! It was nicely cooked and presented. They had a very eclectic playlist of 70,80& 90s tunes. It was busy and had a vibrant atmosphere. Service was okay!

After trying a few restaurants a friend suggested the Thaproban. We were not disappointed. The most delicious and fresh fish in town.

Ordered battered prawns and battered fish which were nice but cooked so much the batter was dark brown and rather dry. The chips and salad that come with the meal were good (the menu doesn't tell you this so don't order chips)

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Thaproban Beach House so were fortunate enough to eat at this restaurant a number of times. Not once were we disappointed! The restaurant is in an amazing location right on the beach and the staff are friendly and attentive. Our favourite were the tuna and prawns, while the curries were tasty as well.... More

Nice restaurant with great sea views. I mostly interested in their sea food dishes. Especially the sea food was fresh and tasty. Sea food lovers should not miss this place.

Lovely staff and this is a sister hotel to The Thambapanni Retreat. More in the busy strip than the Thambapanni which has a jungle setting which I prefer. Thaproban still a great option though.

With seating on the beach this is a great fish restaurant. You choose your fish/seafood before it is cooked. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back.

With my husband we visited this restaurant several times as we heard from different people that Thaproban made incredible tuna steaks. This is true!!! Before Wijaya Beach Restn. was my favorite in respect of Tuna steaks, but I have totally changed my mind now. Highly recommend! And Passion fruit Mohito is just a right one.

Staff and food delightful. Thank you for some great meals! Like a family there - so many staff that have been there for years. Very professionally run.
