Friendly hosts and a pretty good food for cheap prices. After a meal you always get a little dessert like ice cream or cake. Unfortunately they close very early in the evening, 9 pm. They have nice list with the most important vocabulary in Spanish...More

We went here because there were people and thought that was a good sign. Turned out to be the worst food that we saw and ate in our entire trip. Don't know what went wrong there... my friend got a broken and old tortilla with...More

We had dinner there after dark, and walked from our hotel. Bring a flashlight. As reported elsewhere the Spanish menu is accompanied by a well written cheat sheet, so ordering is very easy ,as well, our waitress understood us anyway. Very simple decor, but comfortable....More

Stayed next door at the Camino Verde B&B and at here 3 nights. Food is great and service is with a smile. You know it's good when the ticos eat here too.

This was first rate. Not a flash place, but a simple local place with excellent fresh food. Chicken Casado was superb with extra (free) fresh vegetables and a free slice of banana cake. Ignore the "international" options and eat here. You won't regret it.
