Always impressed. The Mediterranean antipasti vegetables were still slightly warm and very well prepared and seasoned. The fish platter for two people was extensive and the side dish was delicious. The fish is excellently prepared. Friendly and attentive staff.

We ate there in the evening for our wedding. We reserved a table by phone the day before. When we arrived, it was decorated with hearts, Mr. & Mrs., candlesticks and it was a nice, cozy spot in the old washhouse with peace and quiet for the two of us. We had the starter plate for 2 people. It was really great. So many different flavors and you could try and explore everything at your leisure. It was so delicious! We'd happily order it again. Our main courses were super tasty. I was super full, happy - the way to a person's heart is through their stomach. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough room for dessert. We'll have to try that next time! The service was very attentive and very friendly. We felt very comfortable and in good hands. A great meal and a great end to our best day. Absolutely fine value for money.

We've now been to eat here for the third time in a week, the first two times we had fish and seafood, both of which were top notch!
Today, for our wedding anniversary, we tried meat.
Steak and surf + rump steak, both top kitchen performance!

The food is ok, no problem with it, but it's the poor service that ruins the experience. Very poorly trained and disrespectful staff. "Which one is Coke Zero?" an Asian guest asked. The young waiter handed us a few bottles of coke and said, "Must be one of these" and left. "But which one is it?" we insisted, now in German. Again he said he didn't know but it must be one of the glasses of coke. Then the waiter was told, in German, that the Coke Zero was ordered by a person who has diabetes, for which he yelled back at us "I DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH!" Clearly, with this level of service and training, they are not prepared to deal with diversity. There are many restaurants in Cuxhaven, many of which offer excellent service.

After being thrilled last year, we were very disappointed today. Instead of spaghetti, we were served tagliatelle without asking, a no go at aglio e olio. One Rumpstaek was dry and burnt.
Additional sauces, despite being the same price, were significantly different in quantity.
Instead of a small mixed salad, there was 1 side salad, just plus 2 pieces of bread.
Overall, unfortunately, one has to say that 4 out of 4 people were not full despite the side dishes, and that at these prices.
Unfortunately we can no longer recommend this restaurant.

We were already on holiday in this restaurant last year and returned again because of the very good experience. Very friendly and attentive service, good selection of dishes and drinks and perfect food. The fish was very good and also visually well presented. A clear recommendation!

Although we were “late” we were greeted warmly and asked for a quick order. Both the meat and fish dishes were excellent and very nicely arranged. The service very good and friendly, although we came close to the restaurant - thank you very much for a nice evening that was almost ruined by the beacon.

In November and January we were in Duhnen for a week each time. Of course we went here twice each time. It was great as always. Beautiful ambience, beautifully presented dishes and still reasonable value for money. We will of course come back on our next stay. Stay as you are and see you next time.

After I had almost given up on finding decent food in Cuxhaven when, at another(!) location, I was served "Cappuccino" with spray cream (reminded me of the 80s) we went to this Restaurant with low expectations. But we where blown away. The Restaurant itself has the right mix of retro-chic, the waiters are very attentive but not to much. And the food was faboulous, the steak was on point, and the presentation was great as well, it wasn't too pricy either. We ended the evening with some "Kuestennnebel" and I would definetly go there again, wouldn't this have been our last evening in Cuxhaven.

This restaurant comes in a very nice, traditional style. They offer a quite big selection of different dishes - everybody will find sthg. Qauntity is (nearly) US standard, means really big portions. In the result value for money.Service is friendly and efficient. No long waiting but also not too fast
