We were recommended by a tour operator to try Mario's and I'm glad we did. We ordered way too much food for 4 of us (mum, dad & 2 children) but we wanted to try good Greek dishes. We loved the white eggplant cooked with tomatoes & feta. Definitely a favourite. The Fried Shrimp was ok. Not amazing but it... More

Mario is one of the best restaurant in Santorini. The place is beautiful, besides the beach and the service is very good. We ordered the sea meal and it was amazing. All the food were very fresh. They gave a panacota as gift.

Huge place. Nothing special. The only good thing is that is next to the sea. Our order: Green salad with crab (too much mayonnaise on it) Pre baked octopus (the just warm it up) Untasted risotto with salomon Untasted fish soup Fried calamari (very oily) I won't suggest it WE DID NOT GET ANY RECEPT

We were looking to find the tavernas and restaurants which usually the locals are eating. Eventhough we were staying in Caltera we drove near the airport to try Mario's specialities. The food was fresh, prepared with love and patient. An appetizer which was extraordinaire (if you love garlic was scordalia). Also marinated baitfish was accompanying our ouzo fantastically. The fish... More

Good location to have a nice dinner. We found the service to be really good and the restaurant is very clean. We had the mussel sagonaki and feta with honey and sesame seed. The feta was really good and the mussels were pretty good but a couple of them tasted quite fishy.

We frequented Mario's a number of times during our visit to Santorini. The menu consisted of a wide range of dishes with fresh fish displayed for you to take your pick. The meat dishes were beautifully cooked and tender. The service was very good and the staff extremely friendly. Would recommend Mario's to anyone visiting Santorini

Stylish entrance to a big restaurant, nice views out to sea, quality food, can be expensive if you choose fish by the kilo, otherwise very reasonable. They very kindly offered a lift back to our hotel which we accepted. Looks like it is the locals upmarket choice. This is one restaurant we would go back to. Can be a bit... More
