We had a pasta demonstration with the head chef, very interesting we learned a few tips about hand rolling your pasta. Then we had a very nice pasta dinner.

Up on the mountain near Artimino, looking over the valley northwest to Florence. The restaurant is next to the Hotel Paggeria Medicea. In an old Villa with traditional décor and ancient dishes and glasses, you'll enjoy a very high quality dishes and excellent local wine. Plan your trip to Florence to include a diner at this romantic restaurant.

Excellent food and service. The free breakfast every morning had everything from eggs to pastries! There is both inside and outside dining

Good here is far away from being typical fresh Italian cooking. The ingredients were everything but fresh (hard to believe in the middle of Italy) but indeed it seemed as if the chef had lost his passion for cooking. I strongly suggest eating elsewhere if possible.

Dear Andres D, we apologize for the inconvenience that we have created, as you can see from the reviews, it's not everyday eating poorly. Rather it is very positive. We will treasure your criticism and hope to be able to still have you at our restaurant. A. Gualtieri More

We had dinner here one evening with a group of six. My husband and I and our granddaughter usually shared all the courses so we could try different things. This was the first time during our stay in Italy that the waiter gave us trouble about it. He insisted we didn't order enough food, although it turned out that we... More

Dear MrMrs Rhoward2, thank you for your comments. It is difficult to understand sometimes the guests that in 6 people order only 4 dishes with a mix of started, first courses and main courses. So the waiter tried to understand but he probably did not. So we are sorry fot the misunderstanding, but it has been a very strange dinner... More

Stayed at adjacent hotel so obvious choice for dinner. Location is stunning with views down to the Arno and to the villa. However inflexibility in the menu and menu not as extensive for those not pre-booked on half board. Service was a little patchy and aloof struggled to cope when busy (private party on the terrace). Food quality was okay... More

This restaurant is set in the spectacular Tuscan hillside over looking the city of Florence. The menu has a wide choice of typical local cuisine dishes, cooked to perfection. However the whole experience is let down by slow and poor service and when the food does arrive it is more often than not either warm or cold. A real shame... More

My family and I travel internationally and eat out very often both at home and abroad. This was absolutely the worst experience ever. We got bread, but no plates for it.
