We did not have reservations and were fortunate to receive one of the last tables. The place is very popular and was jammed packed the night we went. It was understaffed. The owner was trying to do too much. A crowd congregated up front and we waited for our bill until a flagged the owner down. Not an incredible meal,... More

We dropped in for luncheon and were so positive surprised. All the dishes we tried were very good. In audition you can choose from a varied list of wine ( and this distrikt is so famous for It's wine), and also the tabl wine was good. If I return to Pienza, I will definitely eat here again. I also must... More

The food was simply great, enjoyed it a lot. The service was also as good as the food. Very nice and friendly. We tried the home made pasta and loved it!

We dined here twice during our stay in Pienza. It was their off season so not too many restaurants were open. The first night the food was very good, everything was fine. But when we showed up the second night, we were elevated to regulars ! The owner greeted us. A man we had talked to in town came over... More

This restaurant is good at any time of year. In winter it was kept beautifully warm, and the smell of good food sifted to our tastebuds on entering the doors. In summer it is always cool and welcoming, bustling its importance across the halls of its interior. Always wonderful in every way….excellent in service and in fare…good choice.

After asking a local about where could have dinner, we got to this charming restaurant. Tagliatelle with fresh black truffle and ribollita, red wine and some Pecorino cheeses. Everything was delicious and the Staff was also nice.

Husband and I stopped for lunch : the place was very busy with Italians and the menu looked promising. I had the wild boar pici (homemade large pasta) and he had them with pecorino and pepper. Great plates. We also shared appetizers: the page of cold cuts (5.50€) had a good mix of jamón/prosciutto, salami, etc. The bruschetta (3.50€) had... More

The restaurant is much larger inside than it appears to be from outside. Décor was rustic and the service efficient. The meal commenced with a vegetable and salad course, which was excellent. This was followed by Ribollita, two types of pasta and a dessert trolley. The food was very good. Lots of the diners were locals, so that spoke volumes.... More

My daughter and I went to this restaurant on the first night with our small tour group. The service was excellent. We had a variety of courses, and with the exception of the boar dish [I just don't like boar] everything was lovely.
