We recently rented a villa in Tuscany near Montepulciano and this restaurant was recommended to us by the owner. The food was fabulous! In addition to having dinner there, we went there several times for breakfast and were not disappointed. They also have a great selection of wines and and olive oil that is available for purchase. If you are... More

Sopped here on a whim for a snack. Through a modern open plan lovely dining area to a charming pergola and garden area. Superb homemade food - special mention for the artichoke and mushroom lasagne, and the burger. Only negative is the stupid payment system which means if you buy something at the bar (as did 3 of our group... More

We ate lunch here after visiting La Foce. The special primi that day was artichoke ricotta lasagne which was so light and delicious. The grilled rabbit with roasted potatoes and carrots was amazing. For dessert, I had strawberries with cream and my husband had a dessert wine from the estate that was a delicate blend of favors ibcluding cherry and... More

Good food and service. We ate one supper and one breakfast here, and enjoyed both. Recommend the eggs and bacon for breakfast.

After a visit to LaFoce stop in for a great meal. Very casual atmosphere but great service and very good food. We first found this restaurant 2 years ago and have enjoyed going back whenever we are in Val D'Orcia.

Situated over the road from one of the most recognised location in Tuscany "Dopolavoro - La Foce" does not disapoint. The food is delicious ..the staff friendly and inviting and a perfect place to stop for lunch or dinner. Recommend 😊 (Especially the Hamburger)

For those guests staying at any one of La Foce's various guest houses, Doppolavoro is the closest thing to an in-house restaurant -- and a lucky thing, too. Housed in the old worker's assembly hall and graced with photos of some of the WW2 refugee children who found sanctuary there, the restaurant offers a good range of local pastas and... More

We hiked to La Foce from a nearby town, not expecting much in this small village. But food and wine were excellent and we were treated well. There were other tourists and several locals--always a good sign.

Arrived late to our casa with toddler after shops had closed, so needed to find take-away. The entire menu could be taken away and was AMAZING!

This restaurant, bar, and shop has just opened on June 5, 2012, in one of the historic houses of La Foce, the Origo family estate in Val d'Orcia Tuscany. Dining inside and under the pergolas, with wonderful views over the countryside.
