Our hotel suggested this restaurant as a place that could serve dinner at 5pm. Most Pienza restaurants do not start service until 7pm. Well, all you can get here at 5pm is what happens to not be sold out from lunchtime. The special was left and it was a vegetable dish that relied heavily on potatoes as the main vegetable.... More

Minuscule place with very nice and friendly staff. Stop here for a tasty snack or a serving of the sweets, maybe with a hot chocolate or a tea, you won't regret it!

Good sweet and savoury snacks. Full of locals and tourists. Not enough room even in the off season. Nice..

I liked this place for what it is. It's a good place for lunch. Locals eat here. Tourists eat here. They have good sandwiches, olive salads, and cheeses. The service was good. I spoke with the wife of the owner and she was very nice; she wanted to make sure we were enjoying our vacation. If you're in Pienza and... More

If you are in Pienza, do not miss it. It is reaaly tiny with some tables in the backyard among old buildings isolated from the tourist traffic. The food and wine were perfect and very reasonable price.

Came here to get some sandwiches to take away. Bearing in mind that this establishment relies on tourism I was more than a little surprised to receive such poor service. They guy on the counter ignored me for 10 mins then pointed to the girl taking the orders who very reluctantly took my order. He then knocked up my sandwich... More

Nice pit stop for a quick sandwich while out and about. They do have tables and what seems like a nice view but alas, i couldn't enjoy it and grabbed a quick sandwich to go. It was good, nothing mind blowing but good enough.

Not so happy about this place. Food was quite ok, but there was a price in the menu and another on the receipt. Toilet no good at all.

Good place to try the local pecorino, and for a quick glass of wine and a salad. They have daily specials that change and everything we tried was tasty.

Wandering the pretty, narrow, alleys and came across at coffee time. My wife enjoyed her decaf - not a foregone conclusion. I braved the steep steps into the cellar for the toilet. Lovely setting with the martins wheeling overhead.
