My wife and I didn't find too many restaurants in Pitigliano, and this one seemed nice. We had vegetables soup with crostini and egg, which was very good. I tried their calzone with porcini mushrooms and cheese. The calzone was really huge, see the photos. The place was nice, with good food. They make the pizzas and calzone right on... More

I woudn't reccomend this place! It isn't worth it! Better go to a agriturismo outsite the city of Pitigliano! We got there as the place looked nice from the outside and food prices looked also not too bad. I had a pizza with truffel, which didn't taste anything, strange feeling as truffel has strong taste. My mother had 'grigliata mista'... More

I was not happy with the house wine as it tasted awful (burnt rubber) so we sent it back, the owner then tried to force us to pay for it later on in the bill. The "Boar Ragu with pasta" was definitely not Boar, it had way too much salt. The Duck was quickly reheated from frozen and was dry.... More

Great dinner of good quality food. Pizza and pasta were both really tasty, well presented and prompt. Calzoni and steak served at a table near us looked awesome too! Pizza ranged in price from 4 - 8 Euro which we thought was pretty reasonable. Would recommend.

We had a very nice meal here of pizza and dolce. Lots of other people seemed to be enjoying mostly pizza and pasta. I had the biscuit dipped in fortified wine which was fun and we also tried the creme catalania, which was flamed at the table. Did not quite melt the sugar so a bit grainy. You should probably... Last year while visiting his lovely Tuscan hilltown we had had a delicious meal at Ristorante Hostaria del Ceccottino and drove from Orvieto hoping to repeat the experience only to find that that restaurant was closed on the day (26 December). We opted, therefore, to try this nearby restaurant, which was a bit of a disappointment. While the room was... More

We have been rejected right after the door. So my review isn't about food quality, its only a rating about owner's behaviour. We're always travelling with our dog - very seldom we're not welcome in a restaurant, but it happened here. I can accept if there are restrictions in high season, when there is no space because of too many... More
