This gets 5 stars because the quality of the food I had was so good, and because I want to promote Slow Food and local products. The lunch menu consists of a several handwritten selections. Not a typical fixed menu with first, second & side dishes. My order consisted of 2 slices of locally produced meats and classic Florentine bruschetta... More

Been there for lunch. Food was tasty, well presented, local and cheap (10 € for a main). Service was good albeit a bit slow for a business lunch. Will come back again next time I'm in Scandicci.

... can mean slow service too in this large restaurant. Quality ingredients and attentive cooking, dishes proposed are of a good standard. Choice of traditional Menu or daily black-board selection (preferred) Generous helpings, quality table wine, attentive service (albeit talkative), this restaurant lacks a little soul and a more professional service for a "very good" rating in my opinion. Food portion was quite nice. Very clean and simple atmosphere in a nice castle like manor house. Food was very nice.

Bobo is agreat restaurant, serves very nice dishes made with good ingredients, the establishment belongs to the slow food community so it has all the right "ingredients" to be a good restaurant. Alas prices, small portions and shoddy service ruin the experience, which would have been 4 stars otherwise.

The location is wonderful and rich of history. The waitresses that serve at the tables are very kind and they make you feel like at home. I recommend to test "crostini toscani" that in this place are prepared in a superb way! The meat is excellent and it is prepared according to the local tradition. The San Michele Chianti is... More

It is a good choice for those who find Florence restaurant not authentic, this restaurant offers extremely fresh local products, Toscan menu and a very warm atmosphere. The suggestions were excellent and the prices are moderated considering the area. An authentic, honest, local cuisine in Tuscany, what else could you ask for? We order (2 people): 1Mix of salame, prosciutto,... More

The structure (villa that seems like a castle with towers) is really beautiful restored. The service is really quick and friendly. The food is delicious (slow food). I did not like the plastic chairs as you get sticky while you sit on it.

We visited in the evening and there were two big groups. Choice on the menu is quite limited, but food is fresh and tasty. Interior is not cozy and quite noisy and service was too fast for us. Wine card quite varied with reasonable price. Would be a good place for tours or groups.

This is a very good restaurant with delicious italian food and nice staff. The owner claimed that he has the best tiramisu in the whole world and i totally agree with that, it was very delicious. It is much better than the restaurants in touristic areas in rome. We tried pasta, pizza, lasagna and it was all good.
