Over 4 years I have enjoyed meals at this amazing restaurant. They have an extensive menu and although I do not eat meat, there are always several choices for me. The food is fresh, local and exceptionally cooked. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and...kind to non-Italian speakers. The wine selection is wonderful and the tables and seating are comfortable. I am a caterer in the US and I cannot say enough about how much I love this restaurant.More

Our first visit to this trattoria on the road between Calvi del Umbria and Narni. An excellent menu of local dishes. Inexpensive but well presented. I had one of the best Saltimbocca I have had for some time.

This restaurant is the perfect example of 'don't judge a book by its cover'. Set opposite a flour mill and on a quiet, rural road you could easily drive past without realising the culinary treasures inside. The restaurant is situated on the first floor and...has a tree-lined terrace. The menu is surprisingly extensive- but all of it superb, local cuisine and cooked to perfection. I believe the appropriate Italian phrase is 'just like mamma makes'! The restaurant seems to be completely run by ladies which also endorses the homely feel. What a culinary jewel for anyone seeking traditional Italian food - we will visit again (and probably again). Great value, too.More

We made a point of going to Da Sara, even though it's on the outskirts of Narni, because of its stellar review in the Slow Food Guide. Well worth it. Unassuming on the outside it has an attractive dining room and large terrace. We shared...a platter of mixed deep fried mostly veggies. Zucchini flowers, zucchini and eggplant slices, potato croquettes, small meatballs. All delicious. For the pastas we split two, spinach and ricotta ravioli with a sage and butter sauce (the best rendering of this dish we've ever had) and a thick long pasta with summer truffles. Both outstanding. All washed down with the house white. Astoundingly the bill came to 30 euros including wine, bottled water. What an incredible bargain.More

One rabbit dish was excellent but the other was mediocre. However the real problem was the service. One of our party ate well after the rest of us and our side dishes arrived after we'd finished the main!! Pity. I am sure they are capable...of producing great food.More

Great food and awesome service at this restaurant! It is an authentic, family owned and run, Italian restaurant. The spinach and ricotta stuffed ravioli was phenomenal. I would definitely recommend this place to others traveling through Narni that want a great Italian dinner.
