We have just broken up a long journey by stopping here for lunch. And what an amazing choice! The service and food quality was incredible. My husband and I had seafood salads - lovely, fresh ingredients and beautifully put together. My son chose a burger...but this wasn’t your usual ubiquitous offering - this burger was decent sized with amazing thick slices of fresh tomato, leaves and properly grilled bacon. A winner! Lovely crab gyoza for amuse bouche too. Highly recommend!!More

Absolutely amazing, take the classics and make them even better. Totally recommended. Please please order liquid croquettes and liquid chocolate bombón. Oh....My.....God. If you come to Laredo, this is a MUST.

Excellent restaurant, varied menu with some excellent touches. Tasty food with a different take with much flair in evidence. Large portions so please be warned. The fish and prawn €15 May appear expensive but it is great value. Excellent wine list and we have re...booked for another night.More

Excellent lunch in the old quarters of Laredo. Pork cheeks tender tasty and very nicely presented. Chicken tacos lovely- dont be put off by 'Roosters beak' - we think its a way of eating with fingers -not literal in english language sense! Puddings do not...dissapoint 😉.More

Food, service and ambiance all perfect. Have now eaten here three times and each time the food has been of a high standard and the tastes superb. The owner is fastidious in his drive for quality, ensuring that the restaurant, restrooms et al are spotlessly...clean. Would recommend every visitor to Laredo to try this restaurant at least once during their stay. If you are just passing through then definitely the place to go. If you are going to eat then I suggest you book in advance, especially during the summer and at weekends.More

Popped in for a quick glass of wine on the back of the other reviews, Very clean and well cared for bar restaurant with very attentive staff. Ordered a ration of Rabas and was astonished. For a simple Spanish staple dish to taste so good,...I have no hesitation to say, the best I have ever had. Emboldened by this first delight we then ordered the anchoas and again I was astounded by the complex tastes manifested from this simple dish. My compliments to the Chef and staff at Somera! I have now booked a table for dinner as I have now found my new favorite restaurant in Laredo. I look forward to following this up with an updated review.More

We went there last week, place buzzing with activity. There were certain dishes that were recommended and, true to form, worth the visit: croquettes and their special burgers.....I recommend you book in advance.
