So sorry to hear that Frumenty and Fluffin has closed - it really was the best cake shop ever and the reason we visited Ingleton so often. There are still some wonderful eateries in and around the village but this one was quite unusual. Hopefully you will be back trading sometime, somewhere.

This is not the place to visit if you are trying to loose weight! A large selection of very naughty cakes etc and very generous portions, good job we only get here once or twice a year

We wandered the streets of ingleton looking for afternoon tea and came across this little gem! Notorious for finding fault, I couldn't grumble about anything. Perfect afternoon tea and a selection of homemade cakes. The quirky vintage decor is authentic and not contrived. The 2 ladies running the shop were fantastic and fun to be served by. I would even... Called here as they welcome well behaved dogs and we had our son's dog with us. There were 6 of us in total and we had various sandwiches and cakes - all were freshly made and delicious. Looked like a mother and daughter team who served us and were pleasant and efficient. You've never seen such a large range of... More

Quirky little place with friendly staff and the most enormous cakes that need a takeaway box (provided). They also do teas and sandwiches and the location is great. The things they need to look at: 1. More seating indoors. 2. Is this a cafe or a bric-à-brac store? 3. Consider ways of covering the exposed cakes to protect them from... More

This shop has lovely staff and the cakes are ridiculously amazing both in taste and size. They also do a lovely little takeaway picnic with a flask which was perfect

Visited this wonderful, quirky little tea room the day after a very strenuous day walking the three peaks and the huge slab of maple, apple and walnut cake went down an absolute treat!! Even had a huge slab of the choc orange cake to take away. Very friendly staff and delicious fresh food. Perfect little place.
