Came across Baileys by chance and thought we would give it a go for lunch having been tempted by the menu outside. This turned out to be a good decision as we all had a very good lunch and at a very reasonable price. Good to see independents like this still exist when so many high streets are being taken... A busy wine bar with comfortable ambience, well kept beer, and a good selection of food. Enjoyed a quiet meal alone and was well looked after. The clientele was mostly couples or small groups but there would be space for quite large parties. Seating both upstairs and down, pick what suits.

Very busy Friday night - staff very overworked; service slow but they were trying hard to keep up! We got our food eventually..

A lovely country pub feel accentuated by a rustic upstairs dining area. The food was delicious and the service prompt and courteous. I was as delighted by the large specials board as mush as the selection of Ales. Baileys shows great food and service can be affordable

I went with my family for an afternoon tea at the Baileys Wine Bar and Bistro. We sat at a table upstairs. It has an interesting decor that is quirky but nice at the same time. I saw the models of a lady in a very short pink dress, and a man dressed in a brown suit with a mike.... More

Called in after a disastrous meal at Prezzo and wish we had dined here. Lovely, lively atmosphere and happy customers. Wine was great, thanks Ian. See you again.

Really helpful , attentive staff. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Beautifully cooked Roast dinner. Vegetables cooked to perfection . All very nicely served by very pleasant waiting staff. Meal finished off by an immense toffee meringue . 3 generation family meal -- enjoyed by all the family . Can't wait to visit again .

Quick service for a Saturday night, meals were very good. Both menu and kids menu had had good choice and great value for money. Will visit again when in the area.

A group of us visited Baileys New Years Eve. The food was excellent, I had the beef Wellington. The rest of our party of 8 also thoroughly enjoyed the food. The atmosphere was great and it was lovely to go out into the high street to enjoy welcoming in the new year. Back inside then for champagne. Great night keep... More
