Good, reasonably varied menu in pleasant surroundings. Service no more than adequate and food presentation basic but a good meal nonetheless. Two night hotel stay but as a result of the experience only used the restaurant once.

The very best rump of lamb with confit of garlic puree I have ever tasted. You must try it, it is amazing. The food is exceptional.
so good, beautifully prepared; the dining room was quaint, peaceful and service very good. staff is not huge so they do everything but they do it well
Menus are made daily after shopping for fresh, local ingredients. The salmon was sold out early but that was our only disappointment. The food and wine were very good! A lovely dinner in a lovely setting
we had a 3 course meal with wine very good food value for the money we sat in rear of restaurant as big windows and lots of light great service waiters very good
I met a friend here for an evening meal - it was lovely, food was very tasty, we had a nice table and were not rushed/bothered - we spend the evening enjoying the food and blethering. Lovely.
