Six of us arrived without booking and were shown to a table. Drinks orders taken and served promptly. Good choice on the menu for adults and children. Food was all well cooked and presented. Service was top notch. Having spent a week in the Conon Bridge area we all agreed this was the best meal of the week. There are... More

The Black Isle has many good food and drink venues and this should be on your list. It's a small pub only open a few sprays a week (I think)Turned up without booking a table and this was no problem. Chose the chicken and ham pie with veg and spuds, very good. Given the time of year all of the... More

Hadn't been here since new owners took over but v glad we did; Service was great, really friendly and super fast. Not a crowded atmosphere at all and spotlessly clean. Lovely staff and a great selection of courses available. Remembered to take pics of starters (attached) but was enjoying too much to take pics of mains! However, a really good... More

This really is a great find, a little out of the way, but we'll worth the short trip to the Black Isle from Inverness. Real honest pub food with a genuine home cooked feel. The staff excellent, friendly and helpful. The food was definitely very good value for money.

The answer here is to relax. They do eventually take your order and serve you. When they do it is worth the wait. We all found the food excellent and the portions large. Atmosphere very pleasant as were serving staff.

Decor very basic but clean.Food was good.We shared the fish platter starter and there was enough for a main course. It was delicious.I had pork in apple and calvados sauce which was tasty but the vegetables, except the potatoes, were watery and tasteless. Service was efficient and friendly. We will go back.

Lovely meal, the chef even adapted a starter into a main course with no fuss and the service and staff were great. Also fit us in when full booked up
