This was recommended to us by a family friend. We stopped for breakfast on the way up to Wick. We were that impressed we stopped on the way back later that afternoon for hot chocolate and cake. Nice food, friendly staff. Would definitely recommend

Good selection of locally sourced food. Fish and chips were excellent, but would be better with mushy peas not carrots and peas. Cakes to die for, see the size of the meringues.

Stopped here for a light lunch. The food was good and well- presented. Very pleasant outlook and extremely helpful young waitress.

Always one of the best food stops on the A9. Really well prepared, and locally sourced, food. I've been stopping off here for years and quality of both food and service has never dipped, despite increasing popularity.

"Eat where the locals eat" that's what we were told when we were recommended this place! Apparently because it was so nice out it was a bit less crowded than usual, the line not going to the front door. So I would recommend going early...More

You couldn't eat lunch in a nicer place if the weather is good and it was glorious when we were there. We were outside on the banks of the Cromaty Firth. Food is brought to your table. We had sandwiches and a baked pototo salad...More
