Came for dinner during the March snowstorm. Had the entire restaurant to myself. The building dating to the 1700s takes you back in time. The food emphasizes local ingredients, is expertly prepared and artfully presented. It was snowing as I arrived. By the time I left, in between courses, my server even cleared a path from the door of the... More

This was our third visit to Auberge Baker and our first in over six years. The restaurant never disappoints and, honestly, is as good as it gets. It is just as we remembered with fabulous food, exquisitely prepared, in the setting of a romantic inn. We made reservations for a mid-week evening dinner meal for four. We were seated promptly.... This is my second visit to Auberge Baker. Both on guys ski trips to Mont Ste Anne. This is fine Quebec country dining in a historic stone building with an interesting past. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly. The service is professional and courteous. It's obvious that there is pride of service in this establishment. Everything is first rate from... More

Food was good. The restaurant is lovely, quaint and charming. I had a dish called Duo Quebec...it was underwhelming, but ok.

Thank you for your comment. I know that Duo Quebecois is someting not very well known out of Quebec but it is an experience made by a lot of tourists and quebecois loving traditional quebec food. Next time try something else more usual and always homemade More

We enjoyed the ambience of this restaurant and thought it enchanting. The menu had a surprising variety of items served in stylish fashion. The duck breast with maple caramel sauce was superb and definitely the best meal. We would recommend Auberge Baker as a local treasure!

Stopped here for lunch with a group visiting the nearby Basilica. Despite the number of diners and the limited time available, management and staff performed very well. Menu was salmon main course, soup and a blueberry dessert. Very tasty. This is a lovely spot in a historic setting. While off the main road, it is well worth the detour.

We found this out of the way spot from a Fodors recommendation. My husband and a friend were touring around on motorcycle and stopped for lunch. Sat outside and totally enjoyed the meal, the people serving and running the place and the entire experience.

Baker restaurant came highly recommended to us by our B&B hostess. We arrived without a reservation on a Saturday evening. We were fortunate to be able to be taken. Food was very tasty and affordable. Would definitely return.
