Four of us and two children went for both breakfast and dinner, not disappointed either time. They were busy at breakfast so service was a bit slow but when our order arrived all of us were very pleased. Dinner time was less busy and the...service was much quicker. The Pound of Perch dinner that I had really did hit the spot. Coming from the U.K. Perch is something that we don't see on menus at home. The drinks menu was good as well. On both occasions there seemed to be several locals in there as well, I always see that as a good sign.More

Thought we would enjoy a breakfast out after a nice scenic drive from howdenvale to lions head, thought we would try this place out as we in all the years up this way have never eaten here, first off early morning was perfect, calm, not...busy, waitress is pleasant but it seems forced, menu for breakfast is basic, so we ordered, food came out rather quickly but looked good, it is hard to ruin breakfasts but some restaurants excell at it, you butter your own toast, hash browns are Pattie’s cooked in some deep fry oil , and yes you taste it, eggs for not cooked as to both our orders, no water offered, and bacon instead of strips was a jumbled pile, $34 plus a tip is expensive for what not only you get, but for what we did get, on a side note, I apologize for any miss spellings in my reviews, or for using sunrise instead of sunset, etc, so back to this restaurant, they do offer take out, pre ordering, coffee, or pastries etc to go, and have some nice looking single serve meal items in a cooler, give them a try if ever this way, cheer’sMore

Best perch dinner on the peninsula! The staff are efficient and friendly as always. In my opinion this is the best place to eat in Lion's Head.

I’ve come here at least once a week for a couple weeks in the off season and the food and service have been excellent. I’ve been served by a couple different waitresses and they’ve all been great. The burgers and poutine are excellent. This is...my favourite spot on the peninsula and worth driving down from Tobermory just for lunch.More

Food was excellent. Service was good. Beware - they did close earlier than published hours and turned people away, even though it was labour day weekend.

My wife and I came here for lunch. After a rude awakening at the pub down the street we found this hidden gem. I don't think I have ever had better food and service than this restaurant. 15/10 stars. You will not be dissapointed. Thanks...👍More

We went there after our hike and we were famished ! The burgers (hamburger and chicken on a bun) were very good and there were more than enough fries to go with them. We also bought homemade desserts, which were really delicious.

We went to Rachels for a take out breakfast a few times. Food is cooked very well and they have an ample menu. They are the only place in town that opens early. I had marble rye bread western sandwich that came with hash browns....Great place to get your morning coffee and breaky! Located right in town.More

Poor food: "Vegetable soup"--boiled water with hunks of veggies in it "Quinoa Burger"--pile of plain quinoa on a bun "Quinoa salad"-Bland, no flavour Dismal Service: Waiter asked us how the food was, an unfortunately we did not have a positive review to give her, she...dismissed our dismay with the food and did not cut part of the price or make any attempt to keep us happy. Took forever to get waiter to come to seat us, then to serve us. One of the waiters impatiently tapped her foot behind customers who were walking slow to get to the patio. Sloppy themed decor: It seems like the only thing that is 50s style is the chairs and tables. The rest is normal inside. Keep the theme going or drop it. Looks like they just had some old chairs and tables from a garage sale dumped in a regular room.More

We usually eat here when in town. The good is great and quite often can sit outside. Large portions and very delicious. So many wonderful desserts to take home afterwards.

Take out pizza. No way this was fresh, home made pizza dough...a premade crust, cheese, tomato slices and some jar pesto. Crap...and over 30 bucks. Never again.

My husband and I were here yesterday. I asked if we could to take the booth seat because it was too hot to sit by the screened window area. One of the waitresses asked management if we could move to the booth. She came back...and said "No, we can't do that." I know booth seats are generally meant for 4 people. But I saw 2 people sit there just 10 minutes after we were there. Then, when they left, I noticed a man seated in the booth seat. Alone. I think I have as good an eye for locals as the town's people have for spotting us city folk. What's up with that?! They allowed a couple (like us) to sit there and a single too. The food is nothing to write home about. I'm vegetarian and don't go for salads. The soup...I have to say was very good (curried chick pea with tomatoes). My husband had a kid's portion of chicken fingers, fries and some poutine on top. The fingers were very dry. I have mixed feelings about this place. I pay attention to how the staff treat others. One of the waitresses was super nice and the others were blase.More

I stopped here for lunch before heading to Tobermory on my bike trip. I ordered a grilled cheese with chicken sandwich and it was pretty good. The lady who works there is super friendly and efficient. It’s a cute little restaurant. I sat in the...patio and enjoyed my little lunch.More
