After a good day of exploring the beautiful mtn roads in the area with adventure motorcycles or atvs your day gets topped off with a great homemade meal here every time. We heard about Smurf's Country Kitchen from some of the locals in North Shuswap when we arrived at St. Yves for a week of R&R. We were planning to do a little hiking and exploring, so a trip up the Main road to Semour Arm...was a perfect fit. We were not disappointed when we arrived at Smurf's. We were greeted with a smile like they had been waiting just for us. We were treated like long lost friends. The Smurf Burger is a must for any burger lover. The homemade soup was absolutely fantastic. This gem of a spot in the out-of-the-way community is a must-try, and is well worth the drive. It is now on our bucket list every time we travel to the Shuswap region.More

My partner and I decided to explore the Shuswap all the way to Seymour Arm and drove for quite a stretch on the forestry road and to our surprise came across this adorable restaurant. We had already eaten however wanted something to drink and ended...up sharing a date square. We did notice another table being served a great looking meal. Smurf and her husband Ward (the owners) were a wealth of information generously offering history of the area which helped tremendously as we had no idea what was there. We were able to take a walk along the sandy beach and the scenery was spectacular. What a beautiful part of the Shuswap. If you are ever in this neck of the woods....make sure you check out this little gem.More
