I emailed our reservation for 6 people, no problems. My friends from the UK were visiting us in Parthenay, and like us enjoy great cuisine. We weren’t disappointed it was excellent, great service and presentation. Best restaurant in Parthenay by far. All in a very...safe environment. Will be going back very soonMore

Good food. Great ambience. Not bad value. A teeny bit up itself but excused because of the food quality. Nice one guys

Superb food! All extremely well prepared and presented and tasting as well as it looks! A very knowledgable waiter who did a great job in presenting all the dishes and in trying to explain what it was despite not speaking English. Comfortable chairs so easy...to sit and enjoy several dishes. For children, this might not be the most suitable place to take them as it's expected of you to behave accordingly at the table and whilst eating. It's not a place to visit if you're in a hurry, it's a place where you enjoy the food and your company.More

We had the 6 course menu but it came with additional goodies - snacks with the cocktail of the house; amuse bouches; etc. The food was really good - strongly recommend.

A small out of the way restaurant with freindly and knowledable staff. The restaurant has a quiet and charming character. I have been here a few times and always been impressed by the staff who can name all the cheeses (and there are many to...choose from) on the plater. Great food.More

Group of us chanced visit to Parthenay and discovered this restaurant with convenient parking opposite. What lucky find !! Friendly greeting and table for seven of us quickly found, menu and wine list presented, which after usual deliberations all found something interesting to try. Plus...very good wine list produced really good wines to accompany the food. Possibly the best fun and great food made this meal to remember, would definitely recommend making the effort to find this restaurant when in the area. Best meal I have had in recent time. Do give it a try.More

For sure the best restaurant of the neighbourhood in area of Parthenay. To advice to people you appreciate and to share with them if you want to spend good time and enjoy an unique gastronomic moment. There is a lot of choice in the menu...and the dishes are changing each week. The master chef cooks very well with originality specialities of meat (race parthenaise) or legumes and mushrooms and also with alcools based on local plants like angelique. Good service with a lot of discretion and class.More

Gourmet eating, varied menu but spoilt by having a " stuffy atmosphere" . Certainly if you do not speak French you will struggle as the staff speak no English. It's a rather pretentious experience which is a shame as the menu is lovely ( and...there is an amazing cheese board!) . If you want to sample very good French food I would recommend it but if you want a fun , relaxed evening then this is not the place for youMore

Super restaurant - looks ordinary from the outside but the food was fantastic. One of the menu options included wine to compliment each course which at 34 euros pp represented excellent value for money.

We have had several meals at this superb restuarant. The standard of food is what you would expect from a Michelin starred establishment, the menu is imaginative, very well cooked and presented with style- the cheeseboard is exceptional. The service is excellent, attentive not overbearing...and the atmosphere is relaxed we spent four hours over a Sunday lunch once! Would recommend making a special trip to visit this place.More
