Nice restaurant with beautiful view at the end of a steep road. Only Greek dishes on the card. But excellent prepared. The chips are among the best ever tasted.

Friendly staff, great food, amazing view and fair price. What else do we need? A wonderful evening. PS: Bring a coat or book a table indoors. It can get very cold.

We found this place almost by chance after a visit to Mystras. The food was fresh, creative and yet still very traditional and the views are breathtaking. Probably the best lunch we've ever had in 20+ visits to Greece.

We were so lucky - we stayed at Guesthouse Mazaraki (also brilliant) so our "local" restaurant was Chromata. A steep but short walk up the mountainside, it is a perfect restaurant: beautiful setting on the veranda overlooking the valley of Sparta, surrounded by flowers and herbs, pretty white tables and a warm welcome. Service was superb - friendly and helpful... More

... and I don't understand why it has scored less than the nearby Ktima Skreka. We went to both and in my view this was the superior place. I loved the view for a start - this is pretty high up, and you get amazing scenery from the terrace outside the restaurant. The indoor bit is a lovely room with... More

Location is impressive high on a mountain with a view on Sparta. Small restaurant from owners with a passion for food. Local produce like homebread quails and vegetables from the garden. Also quite cheap and nice service.
