Tried my stock favourite, the diavola but the ombre de diavola version with garlic and black olives. Simply one of the best, if not the best, pizza I have ever had. Full of flavour, perfectly cooked. I've lived and travelled in a lot of places in my 50 plus years, that includes living in the US and Italy, and would... More

My husband and I ate there two weeks ago after we got a recommendation from our hotel. A simple neighborhood pizzeria. Sounds good but it is not. Simply not tasty with cheese which I am sure is not 100% cheese. Just go somewhere else

This is our favorite lunch place in San Casciano. Very affordable and friendly. Menu is available in English but is clearly where the locals lunch. We have been many times and they are always consistent. I love pizza with salumi Toscana as I can't get it anywhere but Tuscany. Very different than the salami in the the states. Pizza are... More

This is a nice little place with average pizza. The house wine was not very good. The waitress was very nice and tried very hard when we tried to customize our pizza although that proves to be difficult with the language barriers (my problem, not hers). If you were looking for a relatively quick and reasonably priced lunch or dinner... More

Lovely range of pizzas, Blanca or Traditional, and served quickly and efficiently. It's a great fall back if you want to eat out at a reasonable priced pizzeria. Prices tend to range €7-9

We (2 adults, 2 kids) had 4 different pizza's and salad...crust was excellent...good bite, thickness and taste..toppings were delicious...I had the 'napoli'...the capers and ansjovis were nicely balanced...highly recommended...service was quick and very friendly...price was also very much in line with the experience.

From the street, Sotto Casa looks like a small pizzeria, but once inside, after passing by a few tables there are steps leading down to a large underground restaurant. My pizza was loaded with mushrooms, sausage, olives and prosciutto and so tasty. My husband had spaghetti with a pistachio and bacon sauce which he really enjoyed. He had a beer,... More

Went here as part of a group. Orders were taken promptly and drinks brought out quickly. The wine, even though I was sceptical about wine that was 'on tap' was quite goods do €8 for a litre. The pizza was great with a crispy crust and base and delicious toppings. It's always good when you can see your pizza being... More

Don't let the narrow street entrance fool you, inside is a tremendously authentic Italian experience. Staff were outstanding and responsive to requests so if you want something in particular make sure you ask. The Fruitti Di Mare pizza was truly exceptional.
