Cosy restaurant on a good location in a nice little village. Not reservated did we get one of the last tables. Nice view from the window places. As the name indicates, did we also visit them for the Piri Piri and were we satisfied, although we received it a little bit diffenrent as ordered. Generally was it definately worth visiting... More

A serious request to Francois - the Dutch owner for more than two decades - : Please never change the formula of your restaurant! The chicken piri piri is famous in many parts of the world. But is is certainly not the only excellent food that is served at this typical Portuguese restaurant. Try other dishes as well and if... More

Nice food, service was fine,a little crammed up in the restaurant, but loads if place outside. But €75 for 2 adults and a child is too pricey. The owner greets guests at every table

Excellent restaurant that we have visited many times, always very accommodating and "as it says on the tin" Piri Piri is great but also a varied menu too.

Returned to our local again and never disappoints - sat inside for first time - rustic and cosy ambience. Always attentive and good fresh ingredients and tasty meals. Thank you for remaining true.

Food was alright after waiting almost an hour!! Service was alright too I think the staff need to be a little more friendly towards customers. It is a bit pricey for what you get but that's not a big problem. All in all would have preferred to go somewhere else but was closed on this particular night. In two minds... More

We stayed for two nights at a beautiful B&B close by who told us of three local restaurants. We chose Palacios as we wanted to sample some really good chicken Piri Piri and this was their recommendation. My partners Mother lived in Portugal for fifteen years and so he knew good from bad. The Piri Piri here was so good... More

Good chicken, but in Portugal you eat good chicken everywhere. At the end we asked for the invoice and the girl just came and said: sorry, the computer is broken. We said that it is ilegal not to give an invoice when asked, and she answered "is it also ilegal the computer to break!?" Come on! She just had to... More

We ate here this week and were not overly impressed - chicken piripiri was just okay, chicken stir fry was so salty it made the lips tingle, because there was far too much soy sauce. Also the stir fry came with spaghetti and not rice noodles, which was strange! Portions were on the smaller side too, but yet without wine... More
