Typical portuguese seafood restaurant (marisqueira). Very fresh and superbly prepared variety of seafood. We had a large crab (about 1 kilo), clams in garlic/cilantro sauce and sea snails (buzios). Nice cold beer and excellent service. Not cheap but worth the price.

Typical Portuguese restaurant, with very fresh seafood! Everything nicely cooked and served. Outside there is an amazing sea view. Prices are not cheap, but reasonable considering the quality.

This time I tried Ribas, since "Mar à Vista" is small and always full -- the same quality, even more choice, and plenty of space!

The great thing about Ericeira is there are a number of lovely seafood restaurants to choose from. For the most part all of them serve incredibly fresh, well cooked fish. Marisqueira falls in with the rest - doesn't stand out, isn't below par. An important note - certain fish is not fresh and from the area. Shrimp in particular is... More

The location is amazing, we got one of the outside tables and had a perfect view of the sunset. We got a Cataplana and the portion size was very generous, it was served with rice and bread. The sauce was very tasty and it contained an good mix of shell fish. I would highly recommend this restaurant

We chose the 50€ mixed seafood menu for two people. The service was good and the food absolutely delicious. However, the amount of the food was quite small for a hungry male adult. When me and my wife were done I felt like I had just eaten a starter dish, no more - even though I had tried to fill... More

One of the finest shellfish restaurants in town. The seafood platter for 2 is a wonderful dish for lovers of crustaceans. It comes with 2 types of crab, oysters, barnacles, prawns and shrimp. The house wine was a nice accompaniment. On a separate visit we tried fish, a plate of oysters and a nice steak, served with egg, fries and... More

This was the first time I/we have visited Ericeria and some of the buildings really have been beautifully restored. Unfortunately, on walking around, the general standard of cafes and restaurants and hotels looked grim, reminding us of some very average British seaside resort. It was thus purely fortuitous that we chanced upon Ribas for lunch, but we immediately noticed that... More
