A tranquill setting both options - ocean side or pool side. Selected pool side to enjoy last of the evenings sun. Great hospitality - waiters very pleasant and helpful. Menu extensive - portions huge - grilled vegetables as a starter was a meal in its self. Crisp full of flavour. Fish and chips - fantastic - only a heathen wouldsay... More

We spend our day in the newly opened beachclub. El Ancla has his own parking area, a nice beachshop, a very big swimmingpool, a big bar, a big restaurant and a lovely area with sunbeds. Al together it is a pleasure to be there. The food they served is excellent, the staf is competent and very friendly. Normally we went... More

I rarely leave reviews as most place i dine are to say the least "average". I tend to prefer informing the community here of either "excellent" or "terrible" places as in general average is what we expect when paying "average prices". I was pleasantly surprised when a friend told me about El Ancla, i have been a Marbella regular for... More

Private beach club hidden in the back streets of town. You have a private pool or access to the beach. Lunch overlooking the sea in a first class ambience , fresh seafood , other food whatever you feel on the day. Totally recommend it and booking is advised .

We have eaten here several times and always had a lovely meal. The food is very nice but not exceptional and quite expensive. However, the location is stunning and more than makes up for the rest - hence we have returned and will be returning. We have always had excellent service.

I can't recommend it more. Some dishes (boquerones al lemon, Sebiche de Lubina) are so perfect that I would not eat them anywhere else. Nice people and service. Big terrace right over the beach without sun shades, so if you fear the sun, you better reserve inside. Just as nice.

Ordered a mixed seafood grill ( for 2 persons) and seafood paella (for two persons). There were 5 of us. The seafood grill for 2, came first. All 5 of us were stuffed by this time. Great food, wonderful service.

We had many family and friends´lunches here. It is traditional food. Nothing spectacular, a bit over prized but all in all very good. Love the pool area (salt water pool). Paula, who organizes the place is great! A family-run business, Cannot go wrong.

Perfect Lunch location. Overlooking the med in this perfectly placed mainly fish restaurant. However to say it is over priced is an understatement. The food was good, but not that good. So are we going back in a hurry .............. No. There are other perfectly placed restaurants at half the price !
