We visit Tamariu two or three times each year so know the qualities of each of the restaurants. We last visited in October and ate here on three occasions. On the first occasion we both chose the Rape (monkfish) which we both thought was excellent and well cooked. On our next visit we had the cod and calamari a la... More

We ordered Tagliatelle a la frutti di mare and sepia. Both was pretty average and tasted boring. For this price we had expected more and at least some garnish for the sepia. The staff was quite unfriendly and asked us immediately after finishing the main dish for the bill.

Hard to offer put a precise reason as to why this place did not really hit the mark. The food itself which comprised of a shared, tasty goats cheese salad, followed by the mains of 1) an excellent port wine sauce that went with the nicely cooked duck breast main and 2) a flavourful and succulent entrecot my wife's opinion... The title sums it all up. On this beautiful beach in the small cove of Tamariu are some 6 restaurants. La Morera is nicely located. The only shadow providing tree is in the middle of their sprawling terrace. But one thing we cannot understand: why is the staff in such a bad mood, why is smiling abolished, why is the... More

Good tapas style lunch. Service a bit slow but food tasty. The Morera salad was very good and just right for a hot day with a glass of Albarino. The padron peppers and russian salad were also good. Nic ae to sit right by the sea to eat in Tamariu.

We have eaten here before, many times, but felt things had gone down hill in our latest visit. It's always very busy in this restaurant and we're always a little confused as to why? We were seated after a small wait, not a problem, and then given the menu which has an English translation. After some time the waiter came... More

We tried La Morera after trying a couple of other restaurants in the same corridor. La Morera had the best service of all the restaurants we visited in Tamariu. Paella was fairly good. I would not say it is the best paella, but was pretty good. One thing that beats all the other restaurants is that you do not feel... More

After a bad experience in the neighbouring restaurant and half empty bellies we took a seat at La Morera. We had great salad, good coffee and a delicious ice cream for dessert. The Ice cream was admittedly a little overpriced, but still we were glad we ordered it. All in all a good experience. We'd definitely recommend the restaurant.

We went on a crowded sunny day in summer but the experince was good! As we're catalan, we'd liked to taste a fideuà and we have to say it was delicious. We had to wait a little bit but a normal thing and nothing to complain. Very good.
