I dont know how it is possible to make such bad french fries, but they succeeded. No flavour, no texture, no crisp. Try something else. At least the view is nice.

A place to have quick lunch at the beach...standard fare of fish, burgers, poutine... Food and service is okay. Managed our large group well.

We have been to Mackies a few times over the years, and will not ever go back after our latest trip. The fries were under cooked, the sauce for them is awful. Enough said. Not the institution it used to be, and very disappointing.
