More than a little shack by the sand, KayaSol was a great recommendation from our friends who'd been to Nosara before. The seafood burrito was excellent, as was the fresh mahi mahi prepared on the grill. We'll certainly be back.

Kaya Sol is an inexpensive fun restaurant and a great place to watch a football game if you are a fan without a TV. It can get busy so be patient with the service. The Mahi Mahi sandwich is a good choice.

The restaurant had a nice, typical (for an amazing tropical climate) family-friendly look/feel. My husband and I were there at a busy dinner hour. We shared an appetizer of deep-fried plantain fritters in a black-bean dip which was delicious, and then we both had specials of the day. I ordered the organic beef salad and was slightly concerned when the... More

Came to watch some football one night came back to listen to some live music another night. Seems like they are stepping up their game now that the Gilded Iguana is closed. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was quality. Cheap local beers is a bonus😉

Went there for lunch twice in my 1 week in Nosara, where I got the arroz con pollo (rice with chicken), and it was delicious. The salad is very fresh and the food is deceptively filling. Best of all, the service is very fast and the staff is also bilingual. 2 thumbs up!

Great food and service. The Patacones with refried beans and jalapeños is a must order. Live music in evenings was a lot of fun.

Really enjoyed this place. It definitely gets locals in, so you feel like you're in a local's hangout. There is one tv that they play some sports on. The food is good (I was surprised!). They also have live music twice a week, so good times to be had! Great service and atmosphere, recommend for a stop-in!

A cute little place . We stay next door in a house we rent Out every year. If ever one of us is hungry - it's a perfect little spot that has a something on the menu for everyone in the group to enjoy.

KayaSol is a great spot with some interesting things on the menu that we didn't see in other restaurants in Nosara. We even got to listen to howler monekys while we were there. On a different night that we walked by they had live music, so I'd like to go back sometime when the music is going to experience the... More
