I wish I found out about this place sooner (on the main playa guiones strip)! They have great food, great ice coffees, for affordable local prices. Rosi and her entourage make everything onsite in their little kitchen. They don't take credit card. They take colones and usd currency. Speak little english - but the food is great. I went twice... We visited the Rosi's that is NOT on the main st in Playa Guiones. The one we went to, several times, is on the north end across from the Guilded Iguana. The cosada’s here are around $5 and are worth every stinking penny and then several more! Be sure to try out their house made Salsa Verde (jalapeño & cucumber).... More

You can go to Rosi's to get eggs and rice and beans and other dishes if you like, but if you order the banana pancakes, you will be blown away. The coffee is so-so but that's okay because the pancakes make up for it. My sister's vegetarian omelet was delicious if you care to order that--full of delicious veggies and... More

Title says it all! Best Casado at a very reasonable price. Go there if you're in the area. From my experience, it will not disappoint!

Good service, Costa Rica outside atmosphere and a very satisfying breakfast. Make sure you realize there may be cats and dogs wandering in. You get used to it. And most restaurants in Costa Rica make instant coffee. I don't drink it but no complaints from my husband.

Good "comfort" food, nice spot, covered outdoors. With family there for breakfast, recommend the omelette. Seats about 10 four-tops. Server was very friendly.
