Walked past lots of nice looking restaurants to get here. Bit grotty looking from outside but long queue suggested that this was a place worthy of its #1 pizza ranking. After 15 minutes I got to the front of the queue. (Don't expect anyone to...speak English like they would do in the German or French equivalent.) Ordered 3 different slices but my offer to pay by card was then rejected. They only take cash payments. Who doesn't take cards? Like going back 20 years. I didn't have any Euros so had to leave without ever getting the chance to see if it deserved its high scores. So the lesson is - take cash or go somewhere else!!More

I was only in Fiumicino for a day however this pizza place was so amazing l went in 4 times! The focaccia and pizzas are so delicious, crispy, crunchy and imaginative l was in heaven. Definitely go there is you are in the area.

So, on the last day of your trip , there haven’t been many options that don’t include eating some overpriced, tasteless rubbish in the airport ....until now. Because, only 5 mins from the airport is the most genuine pizzeria I have ever seen. Its clientele...is all locals (fishermen and local workers) and the pizza comes 100% fresh from the oven. You take as large a piece as you want as they sell by weight. What’s more, it’s right by the docks so it has that totally authentic feel. To wrap this all up the prices are great!More

We had to have pizza one more time before returning to the states. Pizza al Porto was steps away from our hotel. Fast and friendly service plus a large selection of ready made authentic Italian pizza to choose from. Two of us shared three large...slices and two bottles of water for $13 euros. Yum!More

The best testimony of any fast food joint is how many locals frequent it. All the workers head here after a day of grafting, and that was confirmation for us to join the queue. Pizza was a delight, all done by weight and superbly good...value. Nice seating outside to enjoy the sights and sounds of the harbourside location. More important for me though was that the staff were patient, polite and very friendly when dealing with Non-Italian speakers. Super.More

Spent 2 weeks in Italy and last day near the airport. Visited this small pizza place for lunch before flying out. Soo glad we stopped here. Best Pizza we had on our trip. Beer was cold also. Small place but worth it. Get the potato...truffle and mushroom. OMG.More
