We had the "standard menue", which was great. Can't count the courses. The service was very friendly as well. Clear recommendation

What great food for the price! We are a family of four with two young boys, who experienced their first tasting menu! You can’t find this price in the US for a tasting menu, and what a menu it was!
Fresh products and beautiful area. fairly priced but very slow service. We took the menu and waited min 25 minutes between each plate. We ended up eating a lot of bread and drinking all our wine by the time we received the first second dish....6 dishes in total -More
We were welcomed by a very sweet and professional young lady that was able to speak English and Spanish to our non Italian speaking group. After seating us in a cozy outdoor area with a few tables around us we read the amazing menu which...explained how the chef creates his delicious dishes using only local fresh products and inspired by his culinary experiences with a big influence from his grandmother. We let them surprised us with his creations and was surprised and amazed by the delicious and very creative food. Several courses were served and each and all were spectacular, my favorite been the steak tartare with I always never dare eating as I am not much into raw meat but this was so fresh and delicate I ate all of it. They were also very accommodating of my sister in law who doesn't eat meat and got to try an amazing variety of vegetarian dishes made at the moment for her. This restaurant deserves many starts and I hope to come back to eat here one day again.More
The philosophy of the chef it’s clear. Give you a delicious menu with a reasonable price. If you are around Montevarchi, you have absolutely to try it.
This charming place is few km off the via Setteponti in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. They use local and natural ingredients and offer a 7 course tasting menu with seasonal offerings. Lot's of shaded outdoor seating and it seems to be full even on weeknights....Pretty good wine selection. Enjoyed our time thereMore
Surprised and amazed. We thought we were just going for a nice meal, but we were wrong. We came in, had a lovely porsecco and quickly found out its chefs' choice. And he has an excellent taste. Everything was perfect and extremely tasteful. We were...taken back by the while experience, go here if you want something special for a mid-pricepoint. It should be way more expensive, its Incredible.More
The place is located besides sunflower farm and outdoor seating offered perfect social distancing. The food was fixed menu or so called surprise menu, which turned out to be incredibly delicious and extremely well presented. Lovely Tuscan restaurant, very peaceful surroundings and frequented by tourists and locals alike. The chefs menu states 4 courses but includes all sorts of interesting plates of food....you won’t go home hungry or disappointed. It’s Tuscan food with something extra. They have an excellent wine...list with many local Wines. The service was relaxed and friendly on both visits.More
We came to La Posta del Poeta on the suggestion of Elizabeth, the owner of Tuscany Bicycle who lives near the restaurant. So glad we decided to eat here! We arrived as a family of 5, and were quickly seated in a beautiful outdoor space....(We made reservations via the Fork 2 days prior). As far as I could tell, we were the only Americans there. We opted for the tasting menu for the adults, and the kids ordered a pasta course and a steak course. The food was awesome! The pace was a little slow for our American impatience, and if it were just my wife and I, this would be a good thing..... But - with the kids, they ran out of patience about 2 hours into a 3 hour meal. Each course was better than the last. The steak tartar was a highlight, as was the truffle pasta dish. My wife could only get to course # 6, but I made it all the way through! There was a LOT of food, and if I have only one complaint, it's that I was a little too full to fully appreciate the last main course which was probably the best one! If we return to the Valdarno area, we will absolutely dine here again!More
The best experience one could hope for! A decadent 7-course meal, delicious is an understatement! The food was mindblowingly delicious and the entire menu was incredably well balanced flavourwize. The wine card is incredably diverse with an enormous selection to suit every taste. The service...was impeccable! Make sure to book a table timely as it is a popular place and always full. The price - 2x 7-course meal + bottle of wine + bottle of water + 2x coffee - under €80 (service is not included in the bill)!! Don't hesitate - just go! You won't regret it!More
This little restaurant run by very friendly people will surprise you with the quality and the originality of the food, and ultimately with how little money you will pay. It's certainly interested of our favorite restaurants. Nice and relaxing atmosphere and a chef who always...comes out of the kitchen to greet you. Since it's a several course meal, expect to be there for at least 2 hours.More
This restaurant is a hidden pearl. If you have the chance to go to La posta del Poeta, don't hesitate. The menu that the chef proposes is outstanding. These plates are created with passion with fresh ingredients from the region. The wine is excellent and...the atmosphere is authentic. Last but nor least the price... which is more than reasonable for the quality of the food. A restaurant to remember.More
Excellent resstorant in the scenic valley. Interesting and surprise menu!!! But I said that don't eat meat, and chef cooked me vegetarian dishes. The wine that we chose with advice of our waiter was also excellent. Everything was nice, tasty and poetic! I recommend for...special, romantic evening! P.s. and not expensiveMore
This restaurant serves a very creative fixed menu. The food is prepared by a chef who tries to combine his experience from various kitchens in the world. The three antipasti were delicious, the primo very special, the main course a nice piece of meat and...the desert, a home made tiramisu we will never taste anything like that anymore. However, although the food was delicious, after dinner we felt we had eaten too much. Not because the portion sizes were too big, but ingredients used were pretty rich. Despite of the set menu, next time we go there we will skip at least the primo.More
