Just came back from one of the most amazing afternoons in Tuscany. We spent the whole afternoon at Il Canto Del Maggio tasting all the delights. The service, atmosphere and food cant be faulted. The host Simona was very attentive and made the meal extra special. The next time we will spend the night at one of her beautifully appointed... More

We were here for a wedding, so the food was probably special, but it was prepared on site. Everything was very good and nicely presented. Highly recommend.

Situated on a hill, this restaurant is hidden in a garden and each table is separated from the next one by olive trees and other plants. This gives it a nice, cozy, private and somewhat romantic feel. The family that runs it is very friendly and welcoming and the food is really stunning. Close to fancy but not overdone, it... More

Food is good: traditional Tuscan kitchen. Go there in summer and sit outside in small and cosy places under the olive trees. Difficult to find restaurant, but certainly worthwhile the effort to get there.

Pretty location (botanic terrace in a charming hilltop mini-village) Food looked good (but a lavender branch decorating each and every meal eventually looked tired) Food did not taste that good. Looked fresh and nicely decorated, but bland taste on all dishes we tried. Poor menu selection, especially for main courses (rabbit was of poor meat quality and had plenty of... More

My husband and I came to this beautiful little Michelin starred restaurant which was tucked away in the Tuscan hills. We had a very warm welcome from the hostess to this family run establishment. We were given a selection of home made breads to enjoy while we waited for our meal. The pappardelle is a definite recommend (so good we... More

Tucked away in a little hamlet just off the main road so not hard to find, lovely setting, I've been in summer and winter...cosy in winter and like a little fairy land in summer. Friendly, professional service, excellent menus and a comprehensive wine list. Price a tiny bit over what I would normally pay but definitely worth it. Ladies..I wouldn't... More

This restaurant (they have rooms too) is in a beautiful location in a tiny hamlet. To get there you drive up a very steep narrow road and then walk down an equally steep cobbled path (definitely no high heels), but in both cases the short journey is worthwhile. The menu is much more interesting than the "usual Italian" but reflects... More
