Very nice place with a sea flavour, a really friendly atmosphere with very kind people... here you can find a nice variety of typical cuisine up to delicious pizzas, with a delicate dough, really well made, there are also the most delicious ones like those with scampi cream or seafood. Typical Sperlongano restaurant, very extensive menu for all tastes. Now I am at home, as soon as I stop a few days in Sperlonga dinner at Tropical is a must. The food is very good, fresh ingredients and excellent quality, last time I took the tuna with the scent of anchovies which was spectacular, and the crispy black cherry was a pleasant discovery. We often come to Sperlonga and this year we have seen an exaggerated and excessive increase in prices in all restaurants. Even at Tropical we had already had dinner in recent years and the quality / price ratio was average compared to that of other restaurants.
This year we went back but not only have we found much higher prices, but above all 'the quality' has deteriorated. I had a first course of pacchero with mussels and pachino, there were four number mussels and a cherry tomato one, and the pasta tasteless and dry. The other dish was a caprese appetizer. Not to mention the second, turbot fillet with gratin and mashed potatoes (canary yellow) that was totally tasteless and you could see immediately that it was a frozen discount product almost inedible that in fact I left. Before booking we studied the menu at the entrance of the restaurant as having a child we needed to find something that could eat. Having booked for a Saturday we found out only by sitting that the menu would be limited (I guess for the large amount of people served) and with only fish dishes.
Nevertheless the staff was able to meet our needs, allowing us to order standard dishes off the menu of the day such as spaghetti with tomato sauce and cutlets and chips. All very good. The anchovy-scented tonnarelli were delicious.

Always a great experience to go to the Tropical restaurant in Sperlonga where Leone the Owner leads to perfection this place that has 2 specialties, the restaurant and the pizzeria. As a restaurant menu Recommendation buffet appetizers enriched with a nice and good mixed sea fry. We had already been to this place a few years ago and, upon returning, we had a pleasant confirmation. Clean, tidy and straightforward. My partner and I went to dinner. Unpleasant place, not at all nice environment, and a lot of confusion. La sua esternazione, è proprio il contrario delle tante persone che da anni fruiscono della mia azienda, evidentemente il nostro target non è compatibile con i vostri standard del palato.
Venga con lo scontrino, che le restituisco il conto, se è veramente stata da noi, e sarebbe democratico confrontarsi con le stesse pietanze consumate come lei dice, ma insieme.
