We just went in there on our walk and had a toasted sandwich and coffee/hot chocolate. The toasted sandwich was the best that I had ever had. So full of filling!

Read about the recently refurbished cafe and decided to give it a go. It is the only cafe on that side of the town and the

Situated in Port Road, this cafe has a great location and appealing decor. The coffee unfortunately was average and staff mixed up our order, supplying cows milk rather than soya milk to a lactose intolerant member of our group. The cabinet food was well presented and I enjoyed my butterscotch slice. Other members of our group also enjoyed their rhubarb... More

Some friends and I were passing through Whangamata and were delighted to find this cafe where we could sit, eat and rest before continuing on home. It is creative and imaginative when individualised decor and decoration complement the name of the cafe.

This used to be an amazing cafe with great coffee, delicious food and kitsch decor go to being just ok. Floors need a good scrub, looks like an average diner and staff unhelpful and unfriendly. Cost cutting obvious here, should have left it how it was instead of penny pinching on ingredients as it shows.

You can tell how good a cafe is when it is bustling with customers at 9.30 in the morning. They serve great burgers too

Unfortunately another Whanga Café that seems to have gone a bit downhill. Food below average, coffee average and place desperately needed a clean and spruce up. Has definitely lost its appeal. The cluttered dirty corner & old sofa is so unappealing (looks filthy). Not very busy this time & I'd say the food quality means less customers. Extremely slow service... More

40 minute wait for 2 cappachinos and a hot choc. And when they came they were wrong. Another 15mins for a correction! We asked for a refund but they said they were 2 mins away.. Yea right! We understand it was busy but they should've stopped orders till they caught up. Staff were obviously stressed but no need to take... More

We have a family with 10 week old twins and a 21 month old who needed feeding. The staff were exceptional, moving tables for us, even helping nurse the twins after their meal, cannot praise this enough, absolutely superb, thank you so much 😎
