Great food and very friendly service. We shared three different pastas as starters and three different dishes as main courses. We highly recommend this authentic italian restaurant in the idyllic small town of Montorgiali.

We got this lovely recommendation from a wine producer on our trip in Tuscany. What a recommendation! Absolutely worth travel a long way for. Paula, the owner welcome us with open arms and gave us a very nice room at this Bed&Breakfast. The best we have tried ever. The best of all was that they have one of the best... More

This restaurant is really out of the way but definitely make a detour if you can. Delightful reception from the owner/chef and a truly astonishing meal at very reasonable prices. Tuscan food raised to an exceptional level with subtle flavours and local specialities. We followed Paula's recommendation and were served a variety of home made pasta followed by guinea fowl.... This restaurant and bed and breakfast ticks all the boxes; a picturesque town, traditional dishes with a surprising touch and a lovely hostess. The best Italian food we have ever had -- try the fresh truffel and ravioli. Less is more. Pure local ingredients. All accompanied by perfectly balanced local wines. Paula, the hostess, is authentic and passionate, full of... More

Me and my partner visited this restaurant due to the reviews on trip advisor. It is slightly out of the way but totally worth it. The host was great and brought out a translation book when we could not understand some of the menu items. My partner is pretty fussy with food and our lack of Italian meant that we... More

where to start, we found this place using Tripadvisor as we were looking for a restaurant for us, party of 4 with 2 small children. Based the excellent reviews we were a bit sceptical as the village is off the beaten path and relatively small, but wow what were we surprised by the ethusiastic welcome and service from host Paula... In this delicious and hidden tiny mediaeval town on the way from Grosseto to Scansano there is a truly exceptional place - restaurant with rooms. To start with the food is sensational. We love this region and are used to the excellent food everywhere around here. But, and it's just a little but, it tends to be pretty much the... More

The food in this restaurant was spectacular, yet done in the classic style of the region, there was nothing 'nouvelle' or mannered about it, just delicious ingredients put together with a masterful hand by Paula, the owner and chef who was always at hand to explain and recommend the dishes. Was there every night for dinner during my stay and... More

The owner and the restaurant could not be more welcoming. Our daughter is still a little young for restaurants and gers restless so we ate a little quicker than ideal. The food and choice was excellent with something for everybodies taste, maybe there was too much choice for a small restaurant. The tastes were big the portions are just about... More
