Holy cow what a gem ! Freddy's food is incredible. The meals all have an authentic chinese flavor. We eat here at least once a week and are never disappointed. We like to get the spring rolls, spicy tofu and garlic broccoli. The portions are generous, the vegetables are just picked fresh and the flavors are bold. I still can't believe such great chinese food can be found in such a teeny beach town.

Recommend the spring rolls. Husband ordered the vegetable ramen and liked it - the noodles were made of rice. He added chili oil and a little salt. The Kung Pao was a little too sweet and very spicy. Didn't find this dish so authentic. Severely understaffed and so the service is pretty slow.

Freddie learned to prepare this food in a cooking school in China, where he studied for 4 years. I have eaten in the chinese restaurants in Mexico City, and LonTau is better. Although the menu is limited(only Freddy and one helper are in the kitchen), there are enough items to please you. I only wish he would expand the appetizers(potstickers) and add hot and sour soup. In my opinion, this is one of the best in all og Mexico!

We went by this restaurant, desperate for Chinese food, 5 times before we found it open on our next-to-last night in Mazunte! Totally get what was said about Mazunte being casual about opening days and hours :) We had eggrolls which were just fine, then GF had rice and veggies and I had noodles and veggies - a dish I'd been longing for over almost 6 weeks (I know I'm odd). It was mediocre, her rice was very tasty, and we were both very satisfied.

First we thought it was strange to eat Chinese food on the beach but this is an experience you really don’t want to miss. Freddy, the chef (Mexican) learned to cook for years in China and for us this is seriously the best Chinese food we’ve had in Mexico. Not only that but Freddy loves to talk about his knowledge and experience about food and recommend dishes from the menu, and if you’re lucky he’ll cook up something special for you.

No one comes to Mexico for Asian food but oh boy WHAT A TREAT to find delicious taste bud popping goodness here. We stay in this area for 2+ months and I love a variety of foods. What a GREAT find this restaurant has been. Their hours of being open are wonky but worth the wait!!
Prices are very reasonable as well. My only complaint I wish they had fans. No breeze in there.

Wonderful restaurant. Best Chinese food I have ever had in México! Perfect little spring rolls. Yummy sweet and sour chicken. Delectable wonton soup. Outdoor dining. Wine & Beer. No smoking. Highest praise!!

We ate here twice .Food fresh,tasty and bursting with flavour. Lovely staff and chef who is passionate about food .Best Chinese I have had in years and unexpected surprise to find this lovely restaurant in a small place . Recommend the hot cabbage with ginger , scechuan chicken and shrimp curry .

We were truly surprised to bump into this restaurant in Mazunte offering delicious Asian meals (we had kung pao and beef with ginger and lemon grass). Both meals were really tasty with perfectly cooked rice. They also do take-aways ;-)

It was definitely a surprise to find a Chinese restaurant in Mazunte, but it turned out to be on of our favorite dinners in Mazunte! Sweet and sour chicken was well prepared, and the noodles were also super tasty! Try it out, you won'r regret it.

Nice atmosphere and excellent service! Fast, warm and polite. The food was very good and the portions generous enough. They have a decent menu. We couldn't try everything but the rolls and the sweet and sour chicken with pineapple were delicious.
